Lift station alarm, verified that alarm was active and contacted public works supervisor.

Suspicious vehicle pulled into motel, spoke to person who said it was not his vehicle, tabs come back to another vehicle, fraud plates removed and vehicle secured, person was informed to have owner contact OPD, W Nokomis.

April 25

Permit to acquire handgun, E Nokomis.

North Dakota license found on DATA trail and turned in to PD.

Assist landlord with eviction, W Pike.

April 26

Shoplifter found on monitor, person already left store, witness said a male appeared to place sunglasses in his sleeve and then put them back, male and a female left building, unable to see if anything was taken, no action at this time, W Nokomis.

Warning for speed, E 1st Ave/Hwy 27.

Domestic, caller was on phone with person who stated that he needed help, struggling for his phone, ex-wife trying to get it away from him, caller said it might be physical because person sounded distressed, caller said he would call 911 for him.

April 27

Public assist, person signed over title to vehicle that he sold, vehicle is in OPD impound lot, E Nokomis.

Warning for no current tabs on vehicle, new ones coming, E 4th Ave/E Nokomis.

Postmaster reported a dog bite that happened on 4/25, Lavens Lakeview Dr.

Education presentation, DARE, E 1st Ave.

Welfare check, clinic requested check of person after she hung up the phone in mid-sentence, person was fine and declined medical attention, W 1st Ave.

Parking complaint, car parked in parking lot since Tues with no plates, no temp tag, not stolen per VIN, advised comp she would have to tow due to being on private property, person will be picking up vehicle, W Nokomis.

Public assist, comp wants to get her vehicle and property and would like assistance, kept peace between the two persons as property was retrieved, no issues, W Nokomis.

Theft, separated wife claiming husband stole money from her payroll debit card.

April 29

Patrol activity, after prom party.

Warning for failure to dim high beams, W 8th Ave/W Nokomis.

Check welfare, comp states her mom is on O2 and won't answer her phone, made contact with person, she was fine and contacted the comp, W 1st Ave.

Property damage accident, guard rail damaged, eastbound Ford SUV hit the cable guardrail near lake channel on Hwy 27, contacted MSP to notify MNDOT.

Motorist assist/stall, unoccupied, will let OPD decide what to do with it, E 4th Ave/E Nestor.

Business checks.

Domestic, comp states his girlfriend's dad just beat her up, cited person for disorderly conduct, referred to city attorney for review.

Comp states that garbage from silo place is blowing into people's yards, plastic packaging blowing all over area, left message with silo company advising them of the complaint, E Lake.

Comp states that she is suicidal and has had a lot to drink, transported person to ER for evaluation per their request.

April 30

Warning for speed, CR 3/CR 71, Nelson.

Medical, diabetic shock, transported, E Lake.

Escort female to St. Cloud detox, needs to be there at 12:30, transported, E 17th Ave, Alexandria.

Assist other agency, assisting SP on chase, I-94.

Citation for speed and no proof of insurance, warning for no MN drivers license and speed in a different speed zone, CR 82/CR46, Alexandria.

Drunk driver complaint, motorist reported a possible drunk driver entering Osakis, stopped vehicle, arrested driver for 2nd deg DWI and held for court, vehicle impounded for forfeiture, E 1st Ave/E Nokomis.

May 1

Suspicious activity, assist Todd Cty with person on yard possibly taking items, three juveniles were tampering with boat lifts on shore, gone/unable to locate, second call later with same complaint, E Lake.

Suspicious activity, got call that alarm was reset, going to check area, building secure, rear door alarm tripped, notified security, E 3rd Ave.

Assist other agency, MS FTA contested revocation hearing for failure to yield to pedestrian, W 7th Ave, Alexandria.

Medical, elderly female just got back from dialysis and is weak and dizzy, transported, E 2nd Ave.

Driving complaint, male in silver Toyota intoxicated and angry because he hates cops and feels profiled, gone/unable to locate,

Civil matter, comp states her ex is coming over to get a TV and she wants nothing to do with him.
