Osakis police investigate online harassment case

The Osakis Police Department is "actively and aggressively" investigating an online harassment/sexual solicitation case in town, according to Police Chief Chad Gulbranson.

A search warrant was executed and more are expected before criminal charges are issued.

The public is not in danger regarding this case, Gulbranson said.

The department issued advice on its Facebook page: "Please, please, please talk to your children about being safe online, and be an involved, overbearing and annoying parent and monitor their online activities closely. You should know all your children's social media accounts and passwords!"
